In this session, I will discuss isolation of teeth in extreme clinical cases, the importance of using a dual-polymerizing adhesive inside the root canal, choosing the correct type of post for core buildups, and what the best materials for core buildups are and why. I will also discuss conserving the maximum amount of dentin possible through the use of caries detectors, the use of silane primers with fiberglass posts, minimizing shrinkage through the use of delayed light activation, predictable removal of old posts, and crown lengthening with minimal ferrule effect.
