“Clearing Technique”—The art of root canal visualization
Endodontic prognosis mainly depends on the clinician's ability to access the Root Canal System's anatomy in an effective and conservative way , in order to reduce the bacterial load harbored inside the canals , to promote or conserve the periapical tissues health .
Endodontic Anatomy will be revised using cleared teeth as an educational tool . Focusing on premolars and molars of both arches since they represent the groups with the higher incidence of failures , retreatments and frustrations in endodontic practice.
Clearing teeth techniques and documentation protocols will be described . A relation between the anatomical findings and the clinical procedures will be established in order to help the clinician to achieve effectiveness and predictability in daily Endodontics .
